Here is a sampling of recent articles in medical journals

From the journal J Pers Med 2024 Sep 3;14(9):938 (click here for full article)

  • IVES (intravaginal electric stimulation) improved objective and subjective measures of FSD (female sexual dysfunction)

  • There was a significant improvement in FSD (including arousal and orgasmic domain scores).

  • This study concludes that IVES is an effective conservative treatment for female orgasmic dysfunction and not a sex toy.

  • The pelvic floor muscle training is an effective therapy in the treatment of women with secondary anorgasmia.

  • This study showed significant improvement in muscle contractility of the pelvic floor, in sexual function and in orgasmic capacity, after strengthening these muscles.

  • The result of an increase in contractility of the pelvic floor muscles was positively correlated with
the concomitant improvements in sexual function and orgasmic capacity of the population studied.

  • Women with a pelvic floor disorder who scored low on the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) showed an improvement in their sexual life following treatment by vaginal electrical stimulation (VES). Interestingly, their study further showed that VES has no effect in women without a pelvic floor disorder.

  • This shows that the CTS is NOT a sex toy and in fact has no effect in women without climax difficulties... it is a treatment for women who have a physical cause to their orgasmic dysfunction.
